Hole No.1 - Meters: 472, Par: 5

The feature of this hole is the water that comes into play all the way down the right-hand side, which can be very daunting for the first shot of the day. However opportunities for your tee shot on the fairway as you may have the option to attack the green in two shots, which may find you putting for eagle. Alternatively, you may elect to play safe by positioning your golf ball safely on the fairway, which will allow for a short iron approach to the green.

Hole No.2 - Meters: 155, Par: 3

What you see is what you get! From the highest point of the golf course you are able to get a wonderful view of the surroundings and what lies ahead. Club selection is crucial to the outcome of this hole so be sure to take into account the sea breeze. Also, be aware that with the green below you may consider taking 1 less club. A par on this hole should be rewarded with praise.

Hole No.3 - Meters: 365, Par: 4

Play for the position by making sure you hit your ball on the fairway, this will allow for a mid-iron shot to a two-tiered green, which is well guarded by bunkers on the left and water on the right. Overall a good scoring opportunity.

Hole No.4 - Meters: 404, Par: 4

This hole is one of the most difficult holes on the golf course. The challenges that face you are firstly the length of the hole, measuring almost 400meters means that a miss hit tee shot will result in no chance of getting to this green in two shots. Secondly this hole normally plays into the breeze, which again adds to the length. On your approach be careful to avoid the bunker on the left-hand side, as it is some 20 meters short of the green and will require a magical touch to get the ball anywhere near the hole. A bogey 5 is quite acceptable for any standard of play.

Hole No.5 - Meters: 350, Par: 4

A beautiful picturesque hole from tee to green, with the South China Sea and the islands in the backdrop it is certainly a nice setting. Avoid the fairway bunkers at all costs, as a well-positioned shot will give you a short iron to the green and therefore a possible birdie opportunity.

Hole No.6 - Meters: 530, Par: 5

A par 5 that dog legs from right to left. The obvious concern is the water that faces you from the tee, which weaves around the left-hand side of this hole. The safe line is down the right-hand side of the fairway, however, this will make your second shot more difficult. The aggressive player will hit over the water to try and cut off some of the distance to the hole. Once safely on the fairway, you will have to decide whether to try to reach the green in two or lay up with a 3 or 4 iron. The green is very generous in size so if you fail to position your approach shot near enough to the hole you may end up with a 40ft putt.

Hole No.7 - Meters: 151, Par: 3

A short par 3 but don't let the distance fool you, my advice is to disregard the pin location and aim to the center of the green as if you get too greedy you may be penalized by one of the many large bunkers. Par is always a good score.

Hole No.8 - Meters: 370, Par: 4

Again water is a contributing factor to the outcome of this hole. I suggest for the longer hitters from the tee to lay up short of the fairway bunkers on the right-hand side with a long iron or possibly a 3 wood. This will result in about 150 meters remaining to the green. Visually the green appears a lot closer than it is so don't be fooled and trust the distance markers.

Hole No.9 - Meters: 350, Par: 4

From the tee you will see a large fairway bunker that is strategically positioned in the middle of the black tee box that will catch any over-hit tee shots, so for the longer hitter, a 3 wood or a long iron may be a safer option. Again the green is well guarded by bunkers left and right. The green also has 2 tiers so it's crucial to have your ball on the same tier as the hole to ensure an easier putt. Your club selection from the fairway will have an important role to play.

Hole No.10 - Meters: 356, Par: 4

Not a long hole however you will still require 2 good shots to be putting for birdie. To do th is a good tee shot down the right hand side is required, avoiding the big fairway bunker on the left of this fairway. This will leave you a short iron to the green, again here I advise you to aim to the middle of the green to avoid any unnecessary disasters.

Hole No.11 - Meters: 503, Par: 5

A genuine 3 shot par 5 that should not be considered easy as each shot should be positioned strategically to guarantee you par. Starting with you tee shot, which should be directed down the right hand side of the fairway well away from the large and long bunker on the left. From there you should try to position your ball just short of the bunker some 100 meters short of the green. From there you will require a 9 iron or pitching wedge to a large well-guarded green.

Hole No.12 - Meters: 381, Par: 4

A very strong par 4, which requires a good tee shot to set up your scoring opportunity. The longer hitters may consider trying to hit over the bunker on the right-hand side, which will leave a shorter shot to the hole. However, the majority of us should position the ball between the left and right-hand bunkers. This will leave around 160 to 170 meters remaining to a long narrow two-tiered green.

Hole No.13 - Meters: 422, Par: 4

Without a doubt the most difficult hole on the course, as it required length and accuracy. The brave players may consider driving their tee shot down the left-hand side of the fairway, however this may bring the water into play. You will then be expected to hit a long iron or 3 wood to a narrow landing area. The only saving grace is the generous sized green. A par here is something to shout about.

Hole No.14 - Meters: 341, Par: 4

A tricky par 4, which requires some thought. Firstly you should direct your tee shot towards the distant bunkers on the left of the Fairway, as they are too Far to reach, and it is important not to get caught by the bunkers on the right-hand side of the Fairway. Once you have negotiated these you will only be left around 125 meters to the green. This may be one of your last good birdie opportunities so attack the Flag and reap the rewards!

Hole No.15 - Meters: 184, Par: 3

The most difficult par 3 on the course, with water left, 0.0.B to the right, and bunkers in front a demanding shot faces even the most seasoned player. From the tee shot be sure to check your aiming as the tee box sets up aiming to the right so it will catch out those who are lazy to check. My advice is to block out the dangers and trust your swing. A par here will give you something to talk about in the clubhouse after the game.

Hole No.16 - Meters: 352, Par: 4

Another well-designed hole & is another example of a hole that doesn't have to be long to be difficult. You will require a well-positioned tee shot to avoid the big bunker on the left-hand side of the fairway, however, don't be over cautious as any shot hit too far right will result in you being blocked out by overhanging trees. The longer hitters may want to lay up with a long iron or a 3 wood. From there you will be faced with around 150 meters to a well-guarded green. Before selecting your club consider that you are playing uphill, which means you may want to take one more, Pars are possible, and bogeys are likely.

Hole No.17 - Meters: 172, Par: 3

The difficulty on this hole depends on the wind, which makes club selection difficult. With a fairly generous target ensure that you hit the correct portion of the green as you may end up with a 70 ft put in you are not careful.

Hole No.18 - Meters: 482, Par: 5

Here's your final opportunity to make amends with a birdie. The longer hitters have a good opportunity of reaching this green in two shots. However, the rest of us should comfortably reach this green in three. providing you avoid the bunkers from the tee and the water down the left short of the green you should be able to finish with style!

Hole No.19 - Meters: 516, Par: 5

The large bunker facing you some 210 meters down the fairway should be avoided at all costs as if you finish in there you will only be able to pitch out which will cost you the distance. The trees on the left should also be avoided for obvious reasons. Once positioned on the fairway your second shot should be directed down the left-hand side of the fairway, as you do not want to mess with the bunkers on the right, you should now be left with 125 meters to a large green which is some 30 meters long, so again club selection is vital.

Hole No.20 - Meters: 168, Par: 3

A fairly straightforward par 3. The water in front will only come into play for those totally miss-hit tee shots. However, the large bunker that protects this green gets a good workout. The green is wide but quite shallow, be wary of the sea breeze.

Hole No.21 - Meters: 410, Par: 4

This hole like hole # 13 requires 2 well-placed and well-struck shots, as this is long and doglegs from right to left. The tee shot should be directed to the right-hand side of the fairway as anything hit left will leave you blocked out from the green. From there the trouble isn't over as the chances are you will need a long iron or three wood that normally plays back into breeze, so if you complete this hole in par you are amongst the minority.

Hole No.22 - Meters: 171, Par: 3

The bunker short and left of this green often deceives the first-time players of this hole as it is some 30 meters short of the green. I would highly recommend trusting the distance measurement and committing yourself to a good swing.

Hole No.23 - Meters: 315, Par: 4

The longer hitter will have to consider the waste bunker that runs through the middle of this hole some 210 meters from the black tee. (Note: remember you can ground your club in a Waste bunker) so a good option is to lay up with a long iron. Be careful not to block yourself behind the coconut trees that are positioned on the right-hand side of the fairway. From there you will be faced with 115 meters to a wide green. If your tee shot is well positioned a par is in order.

Hole No.24 - Meters: 330, Par: 4

This is our signature hole so take the time to enjoy the view, however, don't forget the job at hand as you cannot afford to lose concentration. This is by no means a long hole but requires positioning as any slot missed left or right will end up in trouble so again the importance starts with an accurate tee shot. You are now faced with around 110 meters to a severely sloped green so be sure to finish your ball on the same level as the hole otherwise you may struggle to two-putt.

Hole No.25 - Meters: 495, Par: 5

A very good scoring opportunity as this par 5 should be easily reached in three shots. From the tee shot position your ball down the left-hand side as the bunker, you see down the left cannot be reached. It also allows for a better angle to attack the hole. From the fairway, you can now decide to attack with a 3 wood or lay up with a middle iron. Either option should leave you in a position to pitch one close and give you a possible birdie.

Hole No.26 - Meters: 340, Par: 4

Providing the bunkers are avoided from the tee there is not too much trouble on this hole. My suggestion is to aim down the left hand side, as there is plenty of room. From there you will have a short iron to a sloped green. Par is a reality.

Hole No.27 - Meters: 360, Par: 4

A straight tee shot is required here as there is not much room to spare from the tee, as the fairway is quite narrow. On your approach be careful to avoid the bunkers on the right of the green, as from there it is extremely difficult to get your ball out close to the pin. It will take two good shots to get onto this green.
