Requirements:
- Open to all student who is taking hospitality program or related field, local or international students studying in Sabah.
- Student must be ready to work on shift.
- Must be service-minded and have a can-do attitude.
- Must have NRIC for local student.
- Must be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 of age.
- Provide Student Biodata/Resume with latest photo
- Please attached Official Internship Letter from Universities/Colleges.

The Guest Relations Officer - Chinese Speaking is responsible for ensuring all Chinese-speaking guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay. This role includes greeting guests upon arrival, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and providing information about hotel facilities and services. The officer will also play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by addressing their needs promptly and effectively.

Guest Services:

Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process.

Provide personalized service and attention to guests especially the guests from China.
- Offer information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

Communication:
- Act as a liaison between Chinese-speaking guests and other hotel departments.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with guests in both Chinese and English.

Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve guest issues or complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Follow up with guests to ensure their needs have been met.

Coordination:
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in organizing special events and arrangements for Chinese-speaking guests.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Prepare daily reports on guest feedback and any issues that arise.
- Assist in the preparation of guest correspondence and promotional materials in Chinese.

Promote Hotel Services:
- Upsell hotel facilities and services to maximize guest experience and revenue.

Minimum Diploma Hospitality Management or related field.
- Previous experience in a guest relations or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- The role requires flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
