Destination - Pulau Mengalum
Mengalum Island located off the South China Sea is well regarded by locals and tourists alike for its sandy white beaches and crystal blue waters. The island's history lends itself back in time to the 16th century and is largely associated with the voyage of Ferdinand Magellan across Asian waters.
Rich in marine life and natural wonders, a fishing trip to Mengalum exposes even the most seasoned fisherman to prized ocean catches such as amberjacks, barracudas, bill fish, groupers, mackerel, marlin, sailfish, snappers, giant trevally, yellow-fin tuna, mahi-mahi and more.
Pulau Mengalum is also the designated game fishing location for the annual Sabah International Fishing Tournament whereby participating fishermen are restricted to only fishing within 20 miles radius around the island.
