Destination - Pulau Tiga
Pulau Tiga, otherwise known as 'Survivor Island' is famous for its mineral-rich volcanic mud bath attraction, rich coral reefs and fine white sand. The island consists of 3 low hills that were formed when 'volcanoes' of mineral-rich mud were spewed out from underground.
Within the vicinity of Pulau Tiga, there are 2 neighbouring islands known as Pulau Kalampunian Besar and Pulau Kalampunian Damit (Snake Island) collectively contributing to the unique ecosystem of flora, fauna and coral reefs that fringe almost the whole area. Through the State Park enactment, these 3 islands were gazetted as 'Pulau Tiga Park', a protected area of 15,864 hectares of land, sea and underwater habitat.
Pulau Tiga possesses a good coral environment for scuba diving, snorkelling and a reasonably sheltered and safe bay to conduct many water-sport activities.
