    Job Responsibilities:

    Responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and food preparation according to the standard set.

    Provides training, coaching and support to Kitchen Staff who may be less experienced to ensure a consistent and quality food.

    Supervises and coordinates activities of Demi Chef and Commis engaged in the food preparation.

    Monitoring portion and waste control

    Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus

    Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

    Inspects and trains Staff on safety and sanitation standards.


    Job Requirements:

    Proven experience for at least five (5) years’ experience in related Culinary field

    Skilled knowledge in the operations of standard kitchen equipment and appliances.

    Possess skill, knowledge and experience in handling food safety, hygiene, storage, food costing and market list.

    Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

    Highly responsible & reliable

    Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

    Ability to work independently or as part of a team

    Diploma/Certification in Hospitality/ Hotel Management an asset
